Not keen on Clarkson but love the number plate. Falklands are British!
1982 Falklands war? Postcard?
Clarkson is (was) a presenter on a British TV Motoring programme called Top Gear. He seemed to be able to sniff out trouble and go for it. The 3 presenters of the programme decide to tour Patagonia, Clarkson in a Porsche with the license plate H982FKL. This riled the Argies as at a quick glance they thought the plate read 1982FKL, a blatant reminder of the war. The cars were stoned and the crews abandoned them I believe and made for the safety of Uruguay. Clarkson of course denied all knowledge if the plate issue!
